Before registering to a course please make sure you’ve filled the prerequisites, as we try to keep the level at the classes as balanced as possible to maximize your progress and enjoyment as dancers and students.

Lindy 101

Lindy 102
| Content | Triple-step six-count basics and mixing it all up with single-steps and Charleston. |
| Prerequisites | Lindy 101 or equivalent knowledge. |
| Recommended To | Dancers who finished Lindy 101 course and beginners who still have problems switching and mixing Charleston and different six-count rhythms. |
Lindy 103
| Content | Bounce, counter balance, triple-steps, kick steps and classic moves. |
| Prerequisites | Lindy 102 or equivalent knowledge. |
| Recommended To | beginners who need that last step before they start learning swing-outs. |
Intro to 8-count
| Content | Technique, yo-yo’s and other basic 8-count moves. |
| Prerequisites | Lindy 102 or equivalent knowledge. |
| Recommended To | Those who’ve finished Lindy 102, Those who want to improve their technique and those who want to move on to more complex and challenging 8-count stuff. |
Technique 2.0
| Content | Dear students, It’s time you take your lindy technique one step up! In this course we will learn new communication principals of the lindy hop and will work on upgrading your lead and follow abilities.This is an important course, and will be considered a pre-requisite for more advanced courses in the future! |

Swinging Out!
| Content | Different kinds of basic swing outs. |
| Prerequisites | Intro to 8-count or equivalent knowledge. |
| Recommended To | Those of you who’ve finished Intro to 8-count and those of you who want to practice/freshen-up their swing outs and swinging-out technique. |

Charleston Recunstruction
| Content | All The classic Charleston moves. Skip ups, Kick throughs, hand to hand, S-turn into tandem, and some random variations depending on the pace of the class. |
| Prerequisites | Lindy 101 course is recommended or any previous dance expirience. |
| Recommended To | Those of you who’ve finished with into classes and want to amplify their vocabulary. Charleston vocabulary is expecially helpful for medium-fast music. This course is a doorway to many other fun courses so it is very recommended to attend. |
Charleston Challenge
| Content | Tandem Charleston with various exits and entrances and more. |
| Prerequisites | Charleston Basics and Intro to 8-count or equivalent knowledge. |
| Recommended To | Everyone who has filled the prerequisites and enjoys Charleston. |

Evolution Moves
| Content | 4 Short routines taken from famous swing clips of different periods from the evolution of Lindy Hop beginning at the 40′s and ending at our days. |
| Prerequisites | Swing Outs and Charleston or equivalent knowledge. |
| Recommended To | Those of you who want to expand and enrich their dancer’s vocabulary. Highly Recommended to all levels of dancers who’ve filled the prerequisites. |
Space Jam!
| Content | *** MUST come with a partner for the whole course duration*** How many times have you stood outside of a jam circle, watching the excitement, your body bouncing and your feet wishing they could join in the fun? Join the HolyLindyLand circle! In this course we will learn useful and cool tips such as going into and getting out of the circle, understanding how a jam circle is created and moves that will give you the knowledge and confidence that you need to be an active participant and an awesome jammer! |

I Charleston (TLV Clip)
| Content | To participate in the coolest sections of the I Charleston TLV (includes entrance to some kickass locations) and represent Israel honorably, participation in this course is mandatory. This course is intended for people who have been dancing swing for at least 6 months, and who can do their basic Charleston steps confidently. In this course we will learn short choreographies of cool solo Charleston and authentic Jazz. These choreographies will be used in the project I Charleston Tel-Aviv. Course contents and choreographies will be closely connected to the locations where the clips will be filmed. In this course you will get to taste some of different styles of the HolyLindyLand instructors. * To strengthen your Charleston, we also strongly recommend taking the Charleston Cardio course, which is also being taught this April. —- I Charleston TLV – for those who have yet to hear about it… HolyLindyLand is happy to join the global project I Charleston the World , and is proud to make the Tel – Aviv version! We will shoot some awesome Charleston choreographies in various locations in the streets of Tel Aviv! The cool video shooting will become a cool clip presents the vibrant city of Tel – Aviv and the awesome swing scene we’ve got in this city!Details about the filming will be sent separately. |

Charleston Playground
| Content | Learn about Charleston Promenading. We will incorporate it with more advanced Charleston moves and turns. |

| Recommended To | People who like to charleston and dance to fast janky music and want to add to that vocabulary and get more practice on that charleston feel |
Rhythm Tap
| Content | Basic tap with emphasis on rhythmical patterns, syncopations and musicality. |

| Recommended To | Everyone. This course will develop your independent dancing and rhythm feel and execution |
Rhythm is our Business
| Content | Rhythmical patterns, syncopations and musicality. |
| Prerequisites | Swinging Out course and Charleston or equivalent knowledge. |
| Recommended To | Those of you who already know their basic stuff and have a variety of figures in their vocabulary and want to get that extra in order to really dance to each different song differently. |
Jump Session
| Content | This is a pre-aerial course – must-do – pre-req. Work on jumping technique, body mechaniques, incorporating minor jumps into social dancing, as well as learning more complicated/flashy jumps: tosses, frog jump, russian split and more!. |

| Recommended To | Those of you who already know their basic stuff and wish to fly. |
Lindy Classics
| Content | This course covers some classic lindy figures (inside\outside s.o, texas tommy etc) |

Balboa 1 – Fundamentals
**IMPORTANT!!! This course will be 3 weeks long instead of 4. It will begin on the 11th of August – a week later than the rest of the courses. The course will be priced accordingly.
| Content | Balboa basic-step, paddles, crab-walks and all the basics you need to start dancing Balboa! |

| Recommended To | Those of you who want to learn a new dance style, those who want more options to dance to high BPM music, those who like technique and subtle lead-follow connection. |
Balboa 2 – Bal-Swing
| Content | Continuing the previous course – here we’ll learn break-away and come-around and various turns. |
| Prerequisites | Balboa 1 – Fundamentals course or equivalent knowledge. |
| Recommended To | Those of you who’ve finished our first Balboa course and would like to continue to more advanced stuff. |
Spin-O-Rama
| Content | Various turns and spins. Work on your balance and focus while you spin. Practice triple stepping through spins and lead\follow different types of rhythm in the spins. |
| Prerequisites | Swinging Out! course or equivalent knowledge. |
| Recommended To | Everyone! spinning gracefully is something we could always use some practice on. |
Cardio Charleston
| Content | See this course as the perfect opportunity to improve your solo Charleston and solo dancing in general,(and even your fitness!) Prepare for a whole hour of exercise – a lot of sweat, very few words! style, plenty of exercise, and a variety of different speeds. This course will surely improve your posture and movement of couples Charleston! Please come dressed comfortably – brining along an extra set of clothes is a useful idea. |
| Prerequisites | No Prerequisite – this course is intended for anyone who is willing to workout! |
| Recommended To | Everyone! Especially to all who participated I Charleston photos to Tel-Aviv and take the course I Charleston. |
Variations & Breaks
| Content | Lindy hop – The fun stuff! Dancing isn’t all about proper execution of patterns. Take your dancing to the next level by adding the fun breaks and variations you should sprinkle into your dance. We’ll go through some classic breaks and variations like quick stop, mini-dip and mix’em up with random rarities of breaks and variations we personally love. |
| Prerequisites | Swinging Out! [+] . This course requires a good understanding of lead follow technique and a good ability to lead follow a swing-out right. If you are uncertain you belong here please talk to us before class. |
| Recommended To | Those who feel comfortable with their swing-outs and lead follow and want to add some pazzaz to their dancing. |
Musicality
| Content | A good dance is much more than just performing an intricate steps one of the other. Learn how to dance to the music. How to lead and follow musically. |
| Prerequisites | Swinging Out! course or equivalent knowledge. This course will require good lead follow ability so If you do not feel comfortable leading\following a swing out yet please take a different course instead. |
| Recommended To | Those who want to make more with the vocabulary they already have. Dancing better = Dancing musically so this course is recommended to all that fit the prerequisites. |
Authentic Jazz
| Content | The aim of the course: to learn the most famous footsteps of authentic jazz and build a solid foundation for more complicated steps in the future . Work on the correct body shape typical of the most dance in the swing family, coping with fast music, adding groove and adding style to your dance (will help you move more beautiful with a partber too). |
| Requirements: | As you can see we have many goals to achieve this month, so please kindly attend : ) mainly week 1-3. Come with comfortable clothing – we’re going to sweat quite a bit |
Tranky Doo
| Content | The aim of the course: to learn the very famous authentic jazz routine “The Tranky Doo”. This is a fun energetic solo jazz routine that dancers love to spontaneously break out with at parties just like shim sham. Work on the correct body shape typical of the most dance in the swing family, coping with fast music, adding groove and adding style to your dance (will help you move more beautiful with a partber too). |

| Content | blues fundamentals course series together with “Bluesman Productions”. For more info please visit the course page. This month we’re contiuning with learning more of the funduments of blues dancing. We’ll also be focusing on some blues roots coming from the Juke Joints which are the meeting places of the afro americans at the time of the segregations in the USA. They would gather around in their meeting places, play some blues and dance. We will go all the way back to 1985 and learn some moves which are the most pure and basic blues there is (even before it received all of the fusion influences) |
